Our Achievements

Collaboration Effort

The Institute has already commenced effort to integrate with a world professional body, the International Federation of Operation Research Societies (IFORS). It is an umbrella organization comprising the National Operational Research Society of over forty-five countries from four geographical groupings of:

Asia, Pacific, Europe, North America and South America. Its membership comprises of over 25,000 people.

IFORS mission is to promote Operations Research as an academic discipline and a profession. The body is identified for its strong commitment to OR in developing countries, particularly Africa. Our membership of this organisation is crucial to adequately positioning of the Institute for the challenges ahead.
